HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

This turned out so good Shayla, you should be proud! This is some of the best work I have seen out of you! Way to try an original layout! I love your attention to detail, but like I said- don't be too critical of yourself, you have to give yourself permission to experiment sometimes without worrying about ruining it! I can see you have the skills, now you just need the confidence :)
Shayla, I love how you selected your colors...The blending of the pink along with the "darker" half. Showing how both sides of life are present. I also like how it is dimensional with the different detail that you selected. You are a multi-faceted person!
Nice choice of colors. Soft yet at the same time, through the use of the ripped paper, etc., sends a stronger message of sorts. Well done!
