HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.

This semester students may choose which order they complete the required projects: ceramics, block printing, silk screening, sculpture, performance art, and a project of their choice. If you are interested in seeing the project requirements for each media, please see the rubrics posted on our ClassJump http://classjump.com/newellfondaart/index.php
I really wish you had somehow combined these ideas into one piece, but I'm not even sure how- I can't even decide which one I like better. Hmmm, I really liked the silver mask for the design and colors with that background- it is nice... but the one on the left seems to be more representative of you :)
Like both pieces of work; however, my eye tends to be drawn to the work on the far right. Dual masks are neat with your choices of color; one with not much definition in facial expressions and the other with more defined and pronounced facial intent. Good job!
i love the tweety bird! he's a stud! and i like all the colors and i like the masks they are very interesting. also i like the random spray paint for the background it really makes teh masks stand out. good job!
Your masks intrigue me especially the one without facial features. What would a commentator say about the colors used and what they mean. You other picture is interesting. I think it tells a story---right? Mrs Palmer
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER: **Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it! **Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade! **Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!
