HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

I love the letters and the mask, I'm not sure about the wood and sandpaper scraps- I get the feeling it was random adding of media??! You did so nice and took so much time on the lettering, then I think you got bored, right? Try to plan more before you start so you don't get stalled out like that halfway through :)

I like the use of wood, it kind of frames your art. I like your letters I think they are neat, but I think some of your media takes away from them.
Cool choice of color on the mask and background! I like the wooden pieces on the outside....gives it an edgy feel. Good job!
