HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

Yes, we all know you have talent, you are a natural at every media you try. It comes so easy for you, you can crank out projects 3 times to everyone else's one. You get on a idea and you can't be stopped, lol, which can be good or bad :) Anyway, NOW, I want you to stretch your brain not your hand... okay- it makes sense to me... work on YOUR STYLE, going deeper, challenging yourself, you have the hand/the talent/ the skills already, but you should never be satisfied with doing well, if you know you can still do better... if that makes any sense?! :)
