HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

So I think everyone really needs to see the picture you used for this because that in itself was awesome! The composition and subject you choose were truly original! The editing that you did to it was SO COOL!! I REALLY think we should post it side by side cause viewers could better appreciate your painting if they saw where your inspiration came from. It is one of those pieces you have to see in person to fully appreciate. I am so glad you made this project into your own! I think you were the only one to take the perimeters I gave and come up with such a unique perspective!! Way to take a risk!!
