HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

i love the mask it is so realistic looking. the only thing i would say is that maybe the area with the desks could be a little darker but other wise its really good.
i really like the face thing! the shading looks really good on it and its like creepy but awesome at the same time :) nice work
The dark value you added made such a huge difference! I think this kind of high contrast style is very eye catching. The composition and subject you choose was very risque and I congratulate you for taking that chance! I love that you challenged yourself to pull off this more "nontraditional" still life picture rather than the arrangement that would have been too simple for you. Kudos! It really paid off, you have a stand out piece. I wonder if it would be a little stronger work if it were slightly cropped...? Maybe like 2-3" off the left?? Maybe, maybe not- think about it...
