HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

i really like this ALOT! the colors are just random, but it works for it. I also like the heart in the middle....it kind of makes me think that no matter what happens love can still over power things..nice job :]

I think you should experiment more with not what u paint, but what you paint on. I like that all of your pieces feel interesting a new because they are all on something unique. Your splattering technique is pretty similar in each piece, but they all feel wonderfully original. What else could you paint on... some everyday object that could be used as a canvas...? There is a lady that paints on ironing boards, I have seen suit cases used as canvas... be creative!
