HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

i like the colors on this. They are very fresh and nice. I also like the way you painted your sky, its really cool and the colors of the trees makes the mountains, sky and water pop! good job! :D

I like the green colors and the mountain.
This may be your strength. You are good a using one color and making it look like shades- like in the sky, and the thickness of the color you apply. When you notice that you really only used various shades of a couple colors, it is amazing. Maybe you need to try some watercolor. The use of the two cool colors makes it look peaceful. And you seem to have a good eye for layering. You seem to see things 3D and not flat, so you can naturally show depth better.
