HS art students will post their new work at the end of each project (every 2-3 weeks) to get feedback from their peers and the public.
CRITIQUE PARTICIPATION RULES
I moderate all posts. If your comment is deemed inappropriate, IT WILL NOT BE POSTED, and you WILL NOT receive credit for your critique participation.
REMEMBER:
**Be as positive as possible. Try to think about how you would feel if what you want to say was said of you. If it can possibly be taken badly, even if that is not your intent- rethink it!
**Be specific and constructive. Do not just say “It is cool.” or “ I like it.” Say what is good about it specifically. Vague comments that have no though, will have no grade!
**Don’t take comments personally! Everyone has different tastes and no artist has ever made anything that everyone likes!! It is okay to be different- I ENCOURAGE IT!

Well the drawing turned out really nice, it was a cool idea, but you took on a big project. It was a high degree of difficulty, but the fact that you tried it is impressive. Next time maybe scale down the size a bit so you have more time for the painting. Also, just commit yourself to working EVERY day :)
The colors of this picture really help bring out the emotion that seems to behind this person. Nice job Jill!
